Documents Specialist, Seasonal

Department: The Travel Corporation USA
Location: Cypress, CA

Position Summary

Document Specialists are responsible for the assembly of travel documents for guests travelling with the TTC family of brands. Docís Specialists will work under the Documents Manager and Supervisor who will assign daily tasks in order to ensure that documents are prepared and shipped to guests in a timely manner.

This role is considered a seasonal position, lasting up to 6 months to help during peak business time for the documents department.†

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The assembly of travel documents which includes tearing vouchers, folding printouts, and adding any necessary branded inserts.
  • Pull product from warehouse and prepare items for daily use.† Keep work space stocked and ensure collateral being used is current.
  • Use multiple computer applications including UPS World Ship to prepare travel docs for shipping.
  • Ensure the accuracy of every booking touched by staying current with brand policies and updates.
  • Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in all aspects of the job.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Work Experience in an office environment is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office applications is required.
  • Knowledge of UPS shipping software is preferred. †
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills Required.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff is required.
  • Vision correctable 20/20 with or without reasonable accommodation required.
  • Able to sit for long periods of time with use of a computer, mouse, and keyboard with or without reasonable accommodation required.
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs is required to arrange and maintain stock in warehouse.
