Direct Lead Agent

Department: Uniworld River Cruises
Location: Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking candidates for a Direct Lead Agent to support our Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection and U River Cruises brands. For nearly four decades, Uniworld has taken guests to the most spectacular destinations in Europe, Egypt, India, Vietnam and China. Our driving goal is to provide guests with a first-class boutique river cruise experience.

And U River Cruises is our exciting, new take on experiential travel, with cruises crafted for those with a passion for exploring and a taste for authentic adventures.

As a member of the Consumer Direct team, you will be responsible for pursuing and documenting all leads received through a variety of channels. Additionally, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with customers leading to increased brand sales.


•Cultivate and track contacts through the life cycle of the lead.

•Generate sales opportunities through various channels of customer contact, including outbound call follow-up and email.

•Understand and match customer interests/needs and match/sell products.

•Attend closely to details of each customer transaction, identify, research and resolve issues with strong customer satisfaction.

•Leverage strong customer service and sales skills to maximize sales opportunities on each customer contact.

•Monitor and adjust performance to track with performance goals.

•Learn, improve and leverage software applications to efficiently process customer transactions.

•Pursue and uphold team goals and values.

•Other duties as required.


•Travel industry and/or customer service experience preferred.

•Proficient with most MS Office programs, including Outlook and Excel.

•Strong oral and written communication skills.

•Able to multi-task, toggle between screens, leverage reference materials while also speaking, processing transactions, etc.
